Thank you Vit, pleasure to be here and thank you for your time today.

Vit Muller:

Hi, Bob great to have you on the show today.

Vit Muller:

Let me ask, you what drives you to keep encouraging others towards positive mindset so much?

Bob Brumm:

I think it's needed in today's society with what we're going through, it's definitely needed.

Bob Brumm:

People are stuck in, you know, lockdowns or they're going through a lot of different things.

Bob Brumm:

And I think that encouragement is something we definitely need to see.

Bob Brumm:

We can't turn on the media, they don't give it to us.

Bob Brumm:

They give us a despair, those fear tactics.

Bob Brumm:

We need to find that encouragement.

Bob Brumm:

We need to find that positive value, not only within ourselves, but sharing that with others and you never know what people are going through.

Bob Brumm:

And it's a great thing to be able to help people with.

Bob Brumm:

And it's easy to do.

Bob Brumm:

I mean, I'd love the idea or, you know, being able to offer that encouragement to people because it's something that we all have within us by we can do it by smiling.

Bob Brumm:

We can do it just by talking, just by finding out what's going on in somebody's world and listening to what's going on.

Vit Muller:

I love that.

Vit Muller:

I love that.

Vit Muller:

And what I also really like is your one minute encouragement, encouragement, engineered videos that you post on your Instagram.

Vit Muller:

They're really awesome.

Vit Muller:

For those of you guys, listening go check out Bob Bob's Instagram.

Vit Muller:

He does these one minute motivational talks on, on camera, just selfie style.

Vit Muller:

And that they're awesome.

Vit Muller:

I like to listen to them because you know, every now and then, you know, you just want to get a bit of a boost.

Vit Muller:

you know, it would not, you know, it would be nice that we all, if we all felt, felt amazing every single day, super motivated, but you

Vit Muller:

There is a little bit too much going on.

Vit Muller:

And these positive encouragement, quick minutes were really liked them.

Vit Muller:

So they highly recommend them great work with what you do Bob.

Vit Muller:

Now.

Vit Muller:

what.

Vit Muller:

What inspires you to, to help others where it is all come from?

Vit Muller:

Were you always like that were always, you know, inspired to help others because I mean, lot of people, you know, might be, some people might be, you know, more,

Bob Brumm:

So, yeah, I was never, I guess, you know, I grew up regular household.

Bob Brumm:

My mom took care of us, but when I was six years old, I lost my mother to cancer.

Bob Brumm:

so that's, my parents were older, so I didn't really get a chance to know her.

Bob Brumm:

Two months later, my grandmother passed away that Christmas day, that same year, my grandfather passed away.

Bob Brumm:

And I found out basically that this was going to be occurring in life.

Bob Brumm:

I figured that out at an early age, because these are life events, and these are the type of events that occur to all of us.

Bob Brumm:

we're going to go through things in life that will affect us.

Bob Brumm:

We'll.

Bob Brumm:

If you will burden us, may change our perspective on things.

Bob Brumm:

But as I got older, I realized the advantage of keeping a positive attitude of keeping an attitude that, you know, these things will happen, but we have to continue on because what I

Bob Brumm:

And I walked into my closet and get ready.

Bob Brumm:

And I realized that sun was still coming up.

Bob Brumm:

She wasn't here, but the sun's still coming up.

Bob Brumm:

The world's still turning and that's something we need to realize no matter what happens with us, as long as we're here, there's an advantage.

Bob Brumm:

We have an advantage.

Bob Brumm:

We can learn from something we can grow from something.

Bob Brumm:

We can keep a perspective that shows people that we will persevere, that we will overcome.

Bob Brumm:

If there's a pain or hurts or something wrong, we can overcome that.

Bob Brumm:

It's not going to be easy by any means.

Bob Brumm:

again, these, these types of things will happen.

Bob Brumm:

but it could be something simple that your mind tends to blow things up and we don't need to do that.

Bob Brumm:

It's no, there's no advantage to do that.

Bob Brumm:

We don't need to carry that guilt.

Bob Brumm:

We don't need to carry the burdens of regret.

Bob Brumm:

We don't need to carry things through our life for longterm.

Bob Brumm:

It's like carrying a bag of rocks around.

Bob Brumm:

Does anybody want to do that?

Bob Brumm:

No.

Bob Brumm:

So why do we do it?

Bob Brumm:

And I learned early on it, I'm here for a purpose and that purpose, help people to see that value of a positive perspective, to help them to continue on, to get through things.

Bob Brumm:

Even when they're hard, it's going to be hard, but like you do it with fitness, with people working out, isn't always easy for everybody and you're helping them take those steps through it.

Bob Brumm:

And this is along those same lines.

Bob Brumm:

I'm helping people take those steps along that journey in life.

Bob Brumm:

But with encouragement to see the value of a smile on your face, to see the value that you know, what, no matter what happens, I can get through this to see the value that I have

Bob Brumm:

So that's where I've learned and grasped the idea to help people to see that value of that positive perspective.

Vit Muller:

That's awesome.

Vit Muller:

And obviously you do that through your books I assume, through your speaking gigs, through workshops and through your podcast?

Bob Brumm:

Yes.

Bob Brumm:

Yes, sir.

Bob Brumm:

That's all over the place.

Bob Brumm:

So I appreciate you mentioned a one minute minute motivations, because those are just that they're for that daily encouragement that says, Hey, here's a few minutes, it's quick, it's easy.

Bob Brumm:

Here's a positive quote.

Bob Brumm:

And here's an idea of what it means and how it can help you, how it can help you to overcome something you may be thinking about or what come, something that you may be procrastinating about.

Bob Brumm:

And take the action you need to achieve the goal you want.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

I love that.

Vit Muller:

Do you have any practical strategies for somebody who is finding it difficult to grasp the idea of how they can get himself more encouraged, more motivated?

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

You know, it's, it's not something that is natural for everybody.

Vit Muller:

And I mean, I'm pretty motivated naturally, you know, towards business and entrepreneurial and, you know, I've the reason, there's a reason why, I guess, you know, I work late at

Vit Muller:

Right?

Bob Brumm:

Oh, definitely not.

Bob Brumm:

I mean, everybody's different.

Bob Brumm:

We all know that.

Bob Brumm:

and like you said, you may run into it with your fitness.

Bob Brumm:

You know, you have that person that's going to be dedicated and they're going to be there at 6:00 AM.

Bob Brumm:

Session, they're going to be working on it on their workouts consistently.

Bob Brumm:

Then you're going to have the people that, okay, now it's raining out or, or, you know, things come up, we all know things come up and you've got a three months old.

Bob Brumm:

Now things are going to come up.

Bob Brumm:

And so, you know, you've gotta be able to play, you know, adjust to that.

Bob Brumm:

But the focus that we're here, that we woke up, that we're able to even get out of bed.

Bob Brumm:

That's a great start.

Bob Brumm:

And that's an easy way to help people to remind themselves, okay, we've got another day.

Bob Brumm:

A new day is like a clean slate.

Bob Brumm:

We can paint a whole new picture, no matter what that is.

Bob Brumm:

We can't, you know, yesterday's in the books.

Bob Brumm:

We can't do anything about it.

Bob Brumm:

You can learn from it, but make today better.

Bob Brumm:

Make that drawing a little better, make that, painting that much more beautiful.

Bob Brumm:

Is it easy?

Bob Brumm:

Not all the time, but you gotta focus on the things you can, you know, you can adapt to.

Bob Brumm:

Again, the first thing we woke up today and it's a great start there's people that don't have that option today.

Bob Brumm:

what else?

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

I've got to get up so early.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

But it's quiet in the house.

Bob Brumm:

What are you perceiving?

Bob Brumm:

The things you have to do and how are you looking at those there things you get to do?

Bob Brumm:

We just change the perception, change our verbiage in our own mind.

Bob Brumm:

When we talk to ourselves, we've got to tell ourselves positive things.

Bob Brumm:

Not I have to go to work.

Bob Brumm:

I get to go to work.

Bob Brumm:

What are you?

Bob Brumm:

You know, those are the types of things that as you do this more and more you'll start to your mind will start to perceive it that way.

Bob Brumm:

And that's the key thing is, is that repetition.

Bob Brumm:

We got to build in that repetition and continue it on the small steps.

Bob Brumm:

That's how we climb a mountain one step at a time.

Bob Brumm:

And it's a whole lot of steps, right?

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Any other practical strategies that you would recommend?

Bob Brumm:

Well, like I said, being grateful is a great thing.

Bob Brumm:

A grateful journal.

Bob Brumm:

a thank you journal, if you will, and do that in the beginning of the day, maybe the end of the day, recap your day so that you can wake up, you you're grateful for three or four things.

Bob Brumm:

Just jot them down.

Bob Brumm:

That helps you get through the day.

Bob Brumm:

And then as the day goes on, you're going to realize, Hey, there's this and there's this.

Bob Brumm:

And then when you get to the end of the day, you recap, and that recap helps your mind to focus on that positivity.

Bob Brumm:

When you go to sleep, your subconscious mind takes over and it's focused on the positive things.

Bob Brumm:

Say, gratefulness, that the task you've done and book-ending your day was thankfulness.

Bob Brumm:

Gratefulness.

Bob Brumm:

It's a great way to carry your mind through and keep that positivity in your mind.

Vit Muller:

Mm, absolutely.

Vit Muller:

No, that's, that's awesome.

Vit Muller:

And obviously journaling, you mentioned journaling that is something that I keep repeating and saying in my podcast, as well as an exercise, you know, at the end of the day, write

Vit Muller:

We got to do that.

Vit Muller:

We got to stop and smell the roses every now and then, so that we can appreciate all the effort that we're putting in and recognize.

Vit Muller:

And I guess in a way I acknowledge that we are making progress and we are moving forward

Bob Brumm:

and that's a good point because no matter what you do, I mean, you start your day, you write down your things.

Bob Brumm:

You're grateful for you have a good cup of coffee, you nice breakfast.

Bob Brumm:

Then you get going into your day and things are going to happen.

Bob Brumm:

Even during the day, it take the time, go outside, clear your head, look up at the sky.

Bob Brumm:

You know, whether it's raining or something.

Bob Brumm:

You know, I live in Florida in the United States.

Bob Brumm:

We get the opportunity to having a lot of sunshine, go outside and enjoy that.

Bob Brumm:

Look at the, you know, the dandelions or the weeds that grow up through the cracks in the sidewalk.

Bob Brumm:

That's okay.

Bob Brumm:

Find that something that will allow you to see the greatness it's all around you and know that it starts within here in your own mind and in

Bob Brumm:

And we can share that with the world.

Bob Brumm:

I think that's critical for people to understand, especially in these times we have the greatness and we can make the difference in the world by our attitude.

Bob Brumm:

And that's important for people to realize because you know, no matter what goes on in your life, you don't have to carry that, that.

Bob Brumm:

Like I said that being mad or that mistrust or regret or any of those feelings, you don't have to carry that and spread that around, spread the happiness, spread the smile spread.

Bob Brumm:

And that's it.

Bob Brumm:

Simple smile.

Bob Brumm:

You use less muscles when you smile and you do walking around with a frown on your face and scowling.

Bob Brumm:

So why not share it?

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Now another great way to help somebody get inspired towards, , positivity is, is listening to other people's stories.

Vit Muller:

Do you have any stories of maybe clients that you've worked with that have achieved some really amazing breakthrough?

Bob Brumm:

Yes.

Bob Brumm:

I've worked with a couple of clients and that one always comes to mind that fairly, I say proud, but I mean, he did all the work.

Bob Brumm:

a friend of mine was ready to hang up his business.

Bob Brumm:

He's a painter and he was just overwhelmed.

Bob Brumm:

and at the end of his rope, he's ready to, like you said, he was ready to stop doing that and do something else.

Bob Brumm:

But we sat down, you know, I was able to help coach him through process.

Bob Brumm:

What is he doing now?

Bob Brumm:

We looked at, you know, you know, what's going on in his life.

Bob Brumm:

He started journaling, started reading better books, getting his mind focused on better things on positive action on focusing towards his

Bob Brumm:

I mean, we sat down and we have weekly sessions and we'd go through.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

What was your day like?

Bob Brumm:

And I had him write out scenarios of, okay, what's your ideal day gonna look like what's your ideal week and what do you want to see in the future?

Bob Brumm:

And I heard this from Tony Robbins a long, long time ago, and it does help because you, your mind starts to grow towards that.

Bob Brumm:

If you build these pictures in your mind, your subconscious mind hangs onto there, and then it starts to help you to find the actions to achieve that picture.

Bob Brumm:

It has in its mind, if you're creating a negativity in your mind, you're going to go towards that and you don't need that.

Bob Brumm:

So you focus on those positive pictures and you can paint, you know, what do you want to do?

Bob Brumm:

What type of income do you want to have?

Bob Brumm:

You know, what type of physical shape you want to be in all those types of things.

Bob Brumm:

And that year he was able to, he started, you know, he made about $60,000 in his business, 60, $65,000 in his business.

Bob Brumm:

The next year he turned around and doubled back, continued the efforts, continued doing these things in gear.

Bob Brumm:

After that, he doubled it again.

Bob Brumm:

This past year, he had a contract on a I think it was a 16,000 square foot restaurant warehouse, a distillery here in St.

Bob Brumm:

Pete, Florida.

Bob Brumm:

And he painted all that, got to his business, any huge pain magazine.

Bob Brumm:

It was went around the nation.

Bob Brumm:

probably had one of the best years in his painting business to date, but you know, that type of aspect of helping people to see their abilities and understand their greatness is is critical.

Bob Brumm:

And I think that's what I enjoy helping people to see that I can do this when somebody sees that, then that internal motivation takes over and it's just on cruise control.

Bob Brumm:

They start going and they start achieving these things and they start making great strides in what they want to achieve.

Bob Brumm:

And that's a great thing to see.

Vit Muller:

I've seen that spark when they finally get it right spark in their eye.

Vit Muller:

And then finally they finally get it.

Vit Muller:

They finally onto it.

Bob Brumm:

Yes.

Bob Brumm:

And that's, that's the whole thing.

Bob Brumm:

I mean, when you speak to groups, you can have one person that audience and I have, I've done this.

Bob Brumm:

I've spoken to many high school, college audiences, and there's one group caught me and I had, it was a short presentation, but you kids are one person that's kind of sitting there.

Bob Brumm:

Like, I don't want to be here and I've got to be here.

Bob Brumm:

I've heard this stuff before.

Bob Brumm:

And by the time I was done with the presentation, he was up on the edge of the seat.

Bob Brumm:

And, you know, with the eyes wide open thinking, okay, what else can I get out of this?

Bob Brumm:

And I was like, yes, I got him, you just need that one.

Bob Brumm:

Like you said, at one spark.

Bob Brumm:

And that sparked me.

Bob Brumm:

And I looked like a spark in for some interest of what he wanted to do.

Bob Brumm:

I don't know what that was, but his posture was different and he saw opportunity.

Bob Brumm:

And that's a great thing.

Bob Brumm:

And that's what drives you when you speak to large groups?

Bob Brumm:

I love seeing that.

Vit Muller:

When we talk about success and successful people, like what is the difference?

Vit Muller:

Right.

Vit Muller:

We know the difference is that they are doing things repetitively over and over, and they have that positive approach to life.

Vit Muller:

Now, one might look at that and they might be at the completely other end of that and thinking there's no way I'll ever be able to do that.

Vit Muller:

But I would like to point out that.

Vit Muller:

It is like, if you're trying to build a bicep and analogy of fitness, if you're trying to improve your fitness, if you're gonna do bicep curls every single day, your biceps is going to get stronger

Vit Muller:

And you're just going to grow your biceps.

Vit Muller:

Now, I like what you said is that, you know, it's that the mindset, you know, like towards positivity, positivity, and just doing that

Vit Muller:

So

Bob Brumm:

.Your brain is a muscle.

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

So if you just focus on the process of sticking to it, being repetitive, that will eventually become a habit, a habit of feeling positive rather than negative.

Bob Brumm:

Right.

Bob Brumm:

And you'll see yourself in every situation, you'll be able to notice what's positive.

Bob Brumm:

You'll be able to focus on that, you know, positive aspect of it.

Bob Brumm:

you know, like I said, life happens to us all.

Bob Brumm:

I, I remember, okay.

Bob Brumm:

I was driving to work one day and then all of a sudden my alternator went out on my car and the car just started acting all crazy.

Bob Brumm:

Luckily I was able to pull over and so forth.

Bob Brumm:

This was at five in the morning.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

That's a bad start of a bad day.

Bob Brumm:

I can focus on all it, man.

Bob Brumm:

This is going to cost this much.

Bob Brumm:

It's going to be this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Bob Brumm:

No.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Let's see.

Bob Brumm:

I'm able to get out of the way of the traffic.

Bob Brumm:

I'm safe.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

I have my phone, it works.

Bob Brumm:

I called the insurance company and they got a tow truck, et cetera.

Bob Brumm:

the guy tow truck guy came, you know, I had the we have roadside assistance trucks that come around, make sure everybody's all right.

Bob Brumm:

And they'll put their flashers on until behind you.

Bob Brumm:

So nobody, you know, hits you or anything like that.

Bob Brumm:

So he was able to do that.

Bob Brumm:

Brought me some water, like, okay, I got some water.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

This isn't too bad.

Bob Brumm:

You know, just wait for the guy.

Bob Brumm:

I was safe.

Bob Brumm:

How because, you know, so I shifted how I looked at.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

It wasn't a great thing, but I didn't get hurt.

Bob Brumm:

I was saved.

Bob Brumm:

My car was okay, except for, you know, another part, but that can be fixed.

Bob Brumm:

A car can be faced mechanical thing, but how are you looking at those situations?

Bob Brumm:

I could, if I wanted to focus on the negatives that just would've thrown my whole day off, my stomach would have started to hurt probably my attitude.

Bob Brumm:

My, you know, maybe giving yourself a headache because you're, you're focusing on this and complaining that doesn't do us any good.

Bob Brumm:

I think the complaints don't do any good.

Bob Brumm:

It's the same thing.

Bob Brumm:

We're worry.

Bob Brumm:

It's a whole lot of effort with nothing to gain from it.

Bob Brumm:

So why do it, and so you find yourself focusing differently on situations that will occur.

Vit Muller:

Yeah, absolutely.

Vit Muller:

And then you probably also end up talking to other people and just spewing your negativity and just complaining about what happened to you and why the world is so, so bad to you and all that, right?

Bob Brumm:

Yeah, you bring up a great point because when something like that happens, what happens you complain about, and then you talk to the next guy and do it again, and then you

Bob Brumm:

So that negativity, that, that bad thoughts in your mind are continuously going, and that's what wears you down.

Bob Brumm:

That's what gives you the, the stress.

Bob Brumm:

It's what gives you the physical pains that you may have to get taken care of with other medications, also medication and whatever your, your digestion,

Bob Brumm:

And that's where we can help people to, to adjust that.

Bob Brumm:

Because of starting with your mindset and how you look at things and building that habit, build that muscle of focus on the positive and how that all will positively affect your life.

Vit Muller:

And when that happens, people will start look up to you and they'll start to respect you more as well.

Bob Brumm:

Well, they want to be with you.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

What's he got?

Bob Brumm:

Why, how come, how come he's smiling all the time.

Bob Brumm:

I want some of that.

Bob Brumm:

What's the secret here.

Bob Brumm:

And that's, it's always fun.

Bob Brumm:

You know, I love being the, the energetic one in the morning.

Bob Brumm:

It annoys a lot of people, but that's just me.

Bob Brumm:

I love mornings.

Bob Brumm:

I love, you know, I'm going, I'm ready to go.

Bob Brumm:

People are like, what is your deal?

Bob Brumm:

But, you know, that's the fun of it.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

There's another word that comes to my mind.

Vit Muller:

And that is you know, taking on the sheep.

Vit Muller:

Taking ownership of your actions, stop blaming what's happening too.

Vit Muller:

And start acting like an adult, you know, start taking ownership of what's happening too.

Vit Muller:

Like the example of a broken car, right?

Vit Muller:

You could easily just blame it on, I don't know the manufacturer or the last guy that serviced your car or I don't know your partner or somebody who was driving your car

Vit Muller:

this happened to me and I'm going to fix it and I'm going to take care of it.

Vit Muller:

and move on.

Bob Brumm:

A lot of times it's yeah, it's a lot of times it's just a respond to situations rather than react.

Bob Brumm:

And so often we want to react and that reaction comes from a negative mindset.

Bob Brumm:

We need to respond and that takes a second.

Bob Brumm:

It takes a minute to stop.

Bob Brumm:

Think about the whole scenario what's going to be beneficial.

Bob Brumm:

Is it beneficial to sit here and complain and re hash this complaint with five other people?

Bob Brumm:

No, because you're spreading that negativity, not only you're, you're doing it into your own mind and your stomach and your physical being, but then you repeat it and you don't let go of that.

Bob Brumm:

And you're affecting others as well.

Bob Brumm:

They don't need to hear about it.

Bob Brumm:

It wasn't their issue.

Bob Brumm:

Like you said, that accountability.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

It's my issue.

Bob Brumm:

I own it.

Bob Brumm:

Let's just take care of it in let's focus on getting it fixed and move on.

Vit Muller:

Yep.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

And look spreading negativity.

Vit Muller:

It's a real thing.

Vit Muller:

It's it's, it's it's a real, like physically affecting others.

Vit Muller:

It's a real thing.

Vit Muller:

I can say.

Vit Muller:

from my personal experience when I was a personal trainer, you know, I would have, let's say in the morning, morning, block I would have four

Vit Muller:

And then I had another, another block of clients in the evening and I would have some clients, you know, some days that just happened that, you know, all those clients in

Vit Muller:

And obviously I'm their guy, right?

Vit Muller:

I'm the guy.

Vit Muller:

So I'm the first one they're going to be sharing and stuff.

Vit Muller:

Spilling up all the negativity, trying to like, just share all that negativity with me.

Vit Muller:

because it helps them sort of vent out.

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

But I felt absolutely drained after four of those, four of us class, back to back four hours hearing, you know, how this happened, and this is shit that that's happening, and this is crap.

Vit Muller:

And you just hear all that.

Vit Muller:

And obviously, you know, you're trying to, you're trying to stay persistent.

Vit Muller:

You're trying to stay positive, but there's only that much that you can, it's like a it's like a shield that you, right.

Vit Muller:

It has a

Vit Muller:

certain strength.

Vit Muller:

And at some point people dig.

Vit Muller:

So what do you do?

Vit Muller:

I mean, you got two options.

Vit Muller:

You can either try to change these people or trying to strengthen your shield or start, I guess, avoiding these people because.

Bob Brumm:

And sometimes that's sometimes you do need to, if you will pull that cord and separate those ties you know, you can't, you do

Bob Brumm:

You need to limit that, that constant barrage of it.

Bob Brumm:

you need to clean your mind down a lot of times, and that's like you said, okay, take a break from those, you know, walk, understand that

Bob Brumm:

And the biggest thing is realize you're not in control of a lot of these things, especially when somebody else is speaking it to you and understand that you don't have to fix that for a guy.

Bob Brumm:

And that's, that's hard.

Bob Brumm:

We always want to fix stuff.

Bob Brumm:

So a lot of times, you know, you gotta be able to learn to set that aside and be empathetic.

Bob Brumm:

I, I get it.

Bob Brumm:

People are, you know, hard time sometimes whatever it may be, but at the same time, You've got to limit your absorption of that and you

Bob Brumm:

That's why so many people with, you know, lockdowns and things like that, they're watching all the news networks, negativity and arguments and this and that and a fear-mongering, it drains people.

Bob Brumm:

And we don't need that, turn that off.

Bob Brumm:

You have the power to turn that off.

Bob Brumm:

You must honor your life with a power button, just press the button and you have that off or watch something different.

Bob Brumm:

If you watch TV or go outside and enjoy the scenery, the birds chirping play with a dog.

Bob Brumm:

If you have any animal or something real pet, you know, that's a great thing.

Bob Brumm:

And that's the best thing like dogs.

Bob Brumm:

They're always happy to see it.

Bob Brumm:

They always want to play.

Bob Brumm:

They want to just enjoy everything about you.

Bob Brumm:

Why not enjoy that, you know, and, and take that in more.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah,

Vit Muller:

you, you brought a good point.

Vit Muller:

I mean, it is this whole COVID thing affecting everybody, and it's been, it's, it's been dragging along for a while now.

Vit Muller:

So, I think this is interview this conversation that we're having, trying to promote this idea of positivity.

Vit Muller:

I think it's very important and I'm hoping that we can make a positive impact on a someone's listening to this right now.

Bob Brumm:

I hope so because yeah, it, you know, people need it.

Bob Brumm:

And that's the big advantage, I guess like never those one minute pieces of, because they are short, they're quick blurbs that help people out during the day and you can listen to it more than once.

Bob Brumm:

You don't have to just listen to it once, listen to it more than once.

Bob Brumm:

If you need that push, if you need that encouragement we can all get through this.

Bob Brumm:

We all have greatness within us and sometimes your greatness is listening to others.

Bob Brumm:

But again, you've got to understand that you can't carry that with you.

Bob Brumm:

It's not your job to carry that burden.

Bob Brumm:

You can listen, but you get, it's a, it's a learned skill that you have to set that aside and set that bucket aside because it will fill you up

Vit Muller:

That's right.

Vit Muller:

That's right.

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

One of, one of, one of, one of the professions that I'm always admire is psychology.

Vit Muller:

So I wonder how do they manage to, you know, do you have that shield so strong that it doesn't affect them?

Vit Muller:

I wonder what happens maybe behind the scenes who knows?

Bob Brumm:

And yeah, that could be part of their training.

Bob Brumm:

I don't, I don't know.

Bob Brumm:

I know I've the way I've learned.

Bob Brumm:

It is again, it's, it's how I focus on certain things in life.

Bob Brumm:

And in realizing that I, I look at things physically.

Bob Brumm:

So, you know, I have a bucket of my own stuff.

Bob Brumm:

And when other people start to fill in that bucket, it's going to overflow.

Bob Brumm:

And that overflow is your stress is your, you know, your anger, your regret, whatever it may be.

Bob Brumm:

And if you're carrying that, you just making a big mess and all that other stuff coming out, so put it down.

Bob Brumm:

And then what if your hands clean, if you will, and then, okay, continue dump the bucket out.

Bob Brumm:

And then you have an empty bucket that you can put your things into your focus on positive, and you're focused on taking positive action towards things because, you know, I think that's important.

Bob Brumm:

Again, it goes back to our subconscious mind.

Bob Brumm:

We want to have those positive pictures in our mind, so that as we go forward in life, we have those experiences already in our mind.

Bob Brumm:

And that positivity is what we can pull from our, our mind, our previous history, if you will, and say, okay, I've done that before I can do this again.

Bob Brumm:

And that takes that positive action to a whole nother level, because then you're already, okay, how am I doing this?

Bob Brumm:

I did this before.

Bob Brumm:

Like when we were little, we all learn how to walk.

Bob Brumm:

Wow.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah, we fell down a lot and then we kept trying, kept trying, kept trying to up and eventually did it.

Bob Brumm:

Well, we've already done a lot of the things we're already doing in our life.

Bob Brumm:

We just got to remember back to those positive moments of how did we do that?

Bob Brumm:

What did we do and that drive we have within us,

Vit Muller:

but the way do that.

Vit Muller:

Sorry, not, but, and the way I do that is by stopping and smelling those roses, don't just keep on chasing someone else's dream or just doing something somebody else asks once off,

Vit Muller:

And, and that's, that's where these memories can come back and and give you that, you know, what's the word.

Vit Muller:

I was trying to be really philosophical right now.

Vit Muller:

Anyway, I guess, I guess you guys know where I'm heading with this.

Vit Muller:

So anyway the next thing I wanted to point out also is success, right?

Vit Muller:

Success comes in many forms.

Vit Muller:

but if we, as an example is a business we have a lot of business owners listening.

Vit Muller:

if we talk about a blueprint, you know, if somebody asks you what's a blueprint to success, what would you, what would you tell them?

Bob Brumm:

Well, again, it goes back to, it's going to be different for each individual.

Bob Brumm:

So we got to focus, you know, remember that, but I go back to the journaling exercise.

Bob Brumm:

What does your ideal day look like?

Bob Brumm:

What does your ideal week look like?

Bob Brumm:

What does your ideal life look like?

Bob Brumm:

What are those things that you take out?

Bob Brumm:

Every obstacle that you might think of for the time being your money?

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Your current status.

Bob Brumm:

Don't worry about that.

Bob Brumm:

This is just getting your mind to think on that big picture.

Bob Brumm:

and going after that and taking those steps, I think it's important.

Bob Brumm:

People need to realize the value of taking action.

Bob Brumm:

We can talk a big game.

Bob Brumm:

We can journal a big game, but if you're not doing anything about it, that's the key is you've got to take those steps to get there.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

If you journal out your ideal week, but you're sitting in front of the TV and not doing anything, no, that doesn't work out.

Bob Brumm:

You got to get off the couch, right?

Bob Brumm:

You've got to take those actions.

Bob Brumm:

If you know, like you said, it was fitness.

Bob Brumm:

You want to build your biceps up.

Bob Brumm:

You've got to physically do something to make those muscles, to build that up.

Bob Brumm:

And in business success, it's the same thing.

Bob Brumm:

You want more clients?

Bob Brumm:

How are you going to get those clients?

Bob Brumm:

You take away the factor of, well, okay.

Bob Brumm:

I might have to, you know, purchase a lead program.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Well, I don't have the money for that.

Bob Brumm:

Okay, how can you get them on for change the question, how are you going to achieve what you want?

Bob Brumm:

you know, you want to get a specific client, where does a client go?

Bob Brumm:

You know, not only during work hours, but maybe after hours that maybe you can start to get to know who they are.

Bob Brumm:

And in a business sense, you get to know who they are.

Bob Brumm:

And then you have more to adapt the conversations to, you know, golf games or your networking groups, what they do likes and dislikes, family events.

Bob Brumm:

It helps bring that breadth that, you know, we're people first, we're going to remember that we're people first and that's critical because so many

Bob Brumm:

But we're people first, you're a dad now, you know, a husband and father, those are critical pieces.

Bob Brumm:

And that takes into, you know, that builds a whole character of a person.

Bob Brumm:

And that success is important to understand that.

Bob Brumm:

Because that, that comes first, no matter what business line of work they're in, they're people first.

Bob Brumm:

And I think people need to understand that and build that into the equation of what action are you going to take?

Bob Brumm:

Don't be weird about it.

Bob Brumm:

You know, you don't want to show up the front door at three in the morning, but understand that, you know, they have, you know, time that they need to do their things with their

Bob Brumm:

And hopefully, you know, you do, but you know, It'll get better.

Bob Brumm:

I guarantee it.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah,

Vit Muller:

absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

And you said this really cool thing and that is, you know, when you try and achieve something, I think said something along those lines, you know, you're trying to achieve something.

Vit Muller:

and you're not there yet.

Vit Muller:

then think about how are you going to get there rather than thinking, well, I'm not there.

Vit Muller:

Let's say if it's finances, right?

Vit Muller:

Let's say you want to live you would like to live a certain lifestyle, maybe live in a nicer place, but you can't afford it.

Vit Muller:

You've got two mindset.

Vit Muller:

You've got two options.

Vit Muller:

You're either going to be saying, well, I'm just, you know, I'm just being realistic and that is, well, I only have what I've got.

Vit Muller:

So that's all I'll work, I'll work with or, you know, figure out how you can afford it.

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

That's that's, that's it, there's nothing, nothing else.

Vit Muller:

And, and I've come across people from both sides and I'm generally, you know, the person that, you know, tries to focus on the solution if I don't have the money.

Vit Muller:

Okay.

Vit Muller:

Well, what can I do?

Vit Muller:

Maybe I can get a second job or maybe I can do this or that to get to that.

Vit Muller:

So that's my plan.

Vit Muller:

whereas in country, people that I've come across that are more, you know, what's the, what realistic down like firmly on the, you know, feed on feed on the ground is released.

Vit Muller:

Right.

Vit Muller:

it's it's I do have a clash generally do have a clash with people because I think there's a, it's, it's, it's a, it's an issue of being congruent with them.

Vit Muller:

Cause I see it as a solution right.

Vit Muller:

You know what I mean?

Vit Muller:

So,

Bob Brumm:

and that's you bring up a great point and that's key because in anything you want okay.

Bob Brumm:

You got to find a solution, right?

Bob Brumm:

Again, you take out all those factors that most people will throw in.

Bob Brumm:

You're like, Oh, I don't have any time.

Bob Brumm:

I don't have any money.

Bob Brumm:

If you had all the time, if you had all the money, take those pieces out of the equation, because now what are you going to do to make that happen?

Bob Brumm:

If you want to lose 10 pounds sitting on a couch, ordering another pizza is not going to do any benefit for you.

Bob Brumm:

You've got to lose the weight.

Bob Brumm:

You have to adjust what you do and you have to just what you eat.

Bob Brumm:

And so you've got to take those actions.

Bob Brumm:

If you don't like running, okay.

Bob Brumm:

Maybe run from your mailbox to the next house mailbox for the next house, you know, driveway to driveway and then go to two driveways

Bob Brumm:

And you're gaining each day.

Bob Brumm:

And even there's going to be days where you're not going to do that, but you continue, you do it anyway.

Bob Brumm:

If it's raining outside doing it anyway.

Bob Brumm:

And that's the hardest thing for a lot of people to come by is they're going to smell an excuse in the way to get back to that comfort zone life isn't comfortable.

Bob Brumm:

So we've got to be able to adjust to that.

Vit Muller:

That's a great example.

Vit Muller:

Great example of an open objections.

Vit Muller:

When when it comes to fitness is the first question that you get from some people on the phone.

Vit Muller:

When you reach out to them, you know, they may have come through to you from a Facebook ad.

Vit Muller:

It gave you the details.

Vit Muller:

They showed an interest, and then you finally get through to them.

Vit Muller:

They'll pick up the phone.

Vit Muller:

And the first thing that comes out of their mind is so how much is it?

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

And they might not even have an aid.

Vit Muller:

Any idea about the service that you offer.

Vit Muller:

They don't properly understand none of it.

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

All they do is making the judgment on the price tag which does essentially no value behind that.

Vit Muller:

Unless, you know, they allow you to, to tell them that.

Bob Brumm:

And, you know, especially with the fitness, you go back to that analogy of when, if you're, you know, on a plane, as they

Bob Brumm:

Because if you can't help somebody else or you can't, you're not, well yourself, you don't have oxygen to yourself, you can't help anybody else.

Bob Brumm:

So that value of you a value of your strength of your greatness and sharing that.

Bob Brumm:

Does that really have a price tag?

Bob Brumm:

No.

Bob Brumm:

We can put you in a casket or cremate you for a certain number.

Bob Brumm:

Do you want that?

Bob Brumm:

You know, it's, I, I don't want to get there any sooner than I have to.

Bob Brumm:

So, you know, if I'm really looking to do something different, the price, like I said, you've got to change your mindset is, is that goal worth reward.

Bob Brumm:

And that's a big thing that people gotta adjust.

Bob Brumm:

If the goal is worth the reward, be prepared to take the steps necessary to get there.

Bob Brumm:

We've got to be able to understand that the value of what we want is that great enough that we're going to take, make the effort to do what we need to do.

Bob Brumm:

You know, we see people that say they getting that successful person and we want to follow that person.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

If you wanna follow that person, you got to do what they did to get where they are.

Bob Brumm:

You may not like that.

Bob Brumm:

And the reality of it is they probably worked pretty hard, but you've seen them on pinnacle.

Bob Brumm:

You didn't see them when they were struggling, you know, down doing the grinding work at two, three in the morning, whatever it may be.

Bob Brumm:

You see them when they've finished and succeeded.

Vit Muller:

Hmm, absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Absolutely.

Vit Muller:

Bringing it back to fitness.

Vit Muller:

If, if you're listening, if you're a somebody listening and you've been stuck in a rut and can get your ass off the couch . For a while.

Vit Muller:

And you just had these desires, you know, how you like to look like, because you, you said important point and that is, you know, the, the

Vit Muller:

The scale has to, you know, that's, that's how you'd be more likely to do it, willing to do it because you're, you're aiming towards that reward.

Vit Muller:

Not so if you're somebody listening and you're like, you know, constantly looking at the magazines and the six pack bodies and, you know, sexy looking, you know, girls in bikinis and, you know,

Vit Muller:

You'd like to look like that, but then you start shopping around and then you still ask about the price as a very, very first thing, rather

Vit Muller:

Then I would say this.

Vit Muller:

Your, your desire is probably superficial and you gotta to dig deeper.

Vit Muller:

You got to ask yourself deeper questions because the reward is not strong enough.

Vit Muller:

And then that's the reason why you doubt doubting yourself.

Vit Muller:

And you want to, you know, you want to give yourself an easy exit, you know, and justify, and don't feel bad about it talking about the price, because that question what's really happening is you're

Vit Muller:

You're just being logical about it.

Vit Muller:

And then you hang up and then feel like it's not your fault, right?

Vit Muller:

It's it's, someone's, it's someone's fault.

Vit Muller:

Someone else, someone else's fault.

Vit Muller:

Someone wants to charge me this much money which brings us back to the beginning.

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

Same thing.

Vit Muller:

You got to own, own, own appeal on the S as, as we say, and Be solution minded.

Vit Muller:

So a couple of questions that are I would, I would generally say if anybody's listening and you know, it's like, okay, what do you mean?

Vit Muller:

Well, I do want a six pack.

Vit Muller:

What, what do you mean about my desire?

Vit Muller:

Not being strong enough?

Vit Muller:

Well, a couple of questions you can ask yourself.

Vit Muller:

All right.

Vit Muller:

So you've got that picture in your head.

Vit Muller:

You would like to look like that guy or that girl, whoever, whoever you are, I'm trying to, trying to visualize.

Vit Muller:

How would that, you know, seeing yourself there now that you've achieved it, how would that make you feel?

Vit Muller:

Trying to really think about how, how, how does that make you feel?

Vit Muller:

Imagine you're there one year later you've been working out, you're seeing yourself in the mirror, you're seeing, you know, you're seeing definition, you feeling fitter have a, have a proper thing.

Vit Muller:

Like what else do you feel?

Vit Muller:

How does that Mack and you feel, maybe you're feeling a bit more confident.

Vit Muller:

Okay.

Vit Muller:

Right.

Vit Muller:

So that's, now you're putting a bit of a visual aspect to it.

Vit Muller:

Next thing to that is, well, now that you've, let's say you've achieved it.

Vit Muller:

You've got that vision.

Vit Muller:

What would that have a thing?

Vit Muller:

What would that allow you to do?

Vit Muller:

Right.

Vit Muller:

All right.

Vit Muller:

Career more energy, more you know, maybe like more appealing you know, more, more like better, better looking appearance to the, to the, to the other person that you are.

Vit Muller:

Maybe it's a crush that you've been, you know, you have a secret crush and you haven't had a confidence to approach them and now maybe they might approach you.

Vit Muller:

I don't know.

Bob Brumm:

And that's a great piece that you, you know, you want to change your perspective on that.

Bob Brumm:

What does that stronger desire?

Bob Brumm:

You know, it's yeah.

Bob Brumm:

It's, you know, working out can be painful.

Bob Brumm:

Taking the actions can be painful calling that person that you don't know can be painful, but what's that end result.

Bob Brumm:

You know, we, we want to get to that pinnacle of the mountain.

Bob Brumm:

We got to take those steps to get up there, and it's not always going to be easy, but what sands you are going to be light from the top.

Bob Brumm:

That's what drives me is what is you reverse the goal and you look at, okay, I want that goal.

Bob Brumm:

I want that beauty or whatever.

Bob Brumm:

It may be financial, the view, the physical appearance, whatever may be.

Bob Brumm:

So that's stronger than, okay.

Bob Brumm:

They'll workout.

Bob Brumm:

Let's continue to do that.

Bob Brumm:

And let's build that.

Bob Brumm:

Think about the advantage.

Bob Brumm:

You're building a smooth Mo Mo you know, motor, if you will, in your body and in your mind, by doing this repetitive Maxim and taking the action towards

Bob Brumm:

And it will bring you great things because you'll feel better.

Bob Brumm:

You'll go to the doctor less.

Bob Brumm:

I mean, I went to the doctor last year and they asked me why I was there.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

I wasn't in any pain.

Bob Brumm:

I didn't have any issue.

Bob Brumm:

I said I haven't had her checked up on my five years.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

It's a blood work.

Bob Brumm:

Checked me out.

Bob Brumm:

So, okay.

Bob Brumm:

Seeing another five years seeing if you're doing things, you know, there's the bigger advantages in the long run to you know, continue that, that idea of, you know, being physically

Bob Brumm:

So go after those things and take those steps.

Bob Brumm:

It's not always easy, but building that repetition is critical in achieving what you want.

Vit Muller:

And if it's somebody that's struggling with that visualization, maybe they're a little more kinesthetic than just trying to think about a way how you can experience that end result now.

Vit Muller:

All right.

Vit Muller:

Let's say.

Vit Muller:

You would like a Tesla one day?

Vit Muller:

Well, if you're lucky enough, hopefully to, to visit a store, if it's not too far, I mean, actually it's irrelevant because if you really want it, you'll find a way.

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

Do you sit in a car

Vit Muller:

augmented reality, right?

Vit Muller:

You've got those options or if you yeah.

Vit Muller:

Or go and sit in the car.

Vit Muller:

I think there's some really cool.

Vit Muller:

I can't remember.

Vit Muller:

There's some really amazing stories of really successful people about their quirky routines that day.

Vit Muller:

They did.

Vit Muller:

I can't remember a particular model.

Vit Muller:

It might come back to me.

Bob Brumm:

I can think of one.

Bob Brumm:

Jim Carey, before he became a big success, he can't carry around a check for $5 million.

Bob Brumm:

He wrote to himself and kept it in his wallet.

Vit Muller:

That's right.

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

He wrote it himself.

Vit Muller:

I think he said when yeah, check written to myself for $1 million and I think he put a timeframe to it as well.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah, he did.

Bob Brumm:

And I think when he got And one of his movies, it was Dumb and dumber.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

He got the amount.

Vit Muller:

Yeah.

Vit Muller:

That's great.

Vit Muller:

That's great example, actually.

Vit Muller:

Yeah, there you go.

Vit Muller:

All right.

Vit Muller:

So whatever it is, whatever you guys trying to achieve stop giving up excuses and start it be positive.

Bob Brumm:

Yeah.

Bob Brumm:

And you know, like you said, there can be quirky things.

Bob Brumm:

Do you do, nobody has to know, tell yourself certain things.

Bob Brumm:

You don't have to tell the world, but tell yourself because that's, who's going to make the difference.

Bob Brumm:

And if that's what it takes, then you do that.

Bob Brumm:

You know, you tell yourself if I do this, if I'm running, because I'm not a big fan of running and I do it.

Bob Brumm:

It's not my favorite thing, but okay.

Bob Brumm:

A little bit more, just a little bit more.

Bob Brumm:

And you've got to sometimes have that dialogue because you got to push yourself.

Bob Brumm:

You've got to go after that and achieve those next steps.

Bob Brumm:

And sometimes they can be, you know, that extra quarter mile.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

It's I'm not going to be the fastest person in the race, but I'm going to finish and that's okay.

Bob Brumm:

Finish the race.

Vit Muller:

So, part of part of that, you know, terrible experience that you had, with your family members have you had any other tough experience in your business?

Vit Muller:

Let's say that you've had to overcome.

Vit Muller:

And how did you go about it

Bob Brumm:

This year has been, you know, I think it effect on everybody.

Bob Brumm:

You don't have any in-person events there they've been all canceled.

Bob Brumm:

So you shift and podcasting is being a big part, big change.

Bob Brumm:

That's come to a big growth.

Bob Brumm:

We've been able to do a lot of that or virtual type coaching sessions with people.

Bob Brumm:

so you've been, we've been able to adapt It's you know, with the whole COVID scenario, you could say, okay, what worries me and wait for something to happen, but that doesn't work.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

You you've got to continue to focus.

Bob Brumm:

You've got to build.

Bob Brumm:

Okay.

Bob Brumm:

Like you said, when we talked about earlier, what are you going to do to take on and achieve what you want?

Bob Brumm:

Take away the equation of, okay, I can't do this or I can't do that.

Bob Brumm:

How else can we do it?

Bob Brumm:

You want to, you know, you brought up a great example.

Bob Brumm:

You want a Tesla, how can you get that?

Bob Brumm:

Maybe save some here, do the second jobs scenario.

Bob Brumm:

eventually build up this, seeing the value of your car.

Bob Brumm:

How can you get to that end point?

Bob Brumm:

And so appended, just a lot of what I do because of the scenario that's bigger than me and is bigger than a lot of people, but it's an idea of, okay, I'm still here to help.

Bob Brumm:

And focusing on that overall idea has helped to continue moving forward or at least in a positive direction.

Bob Brumm:

It's not as great as we'd want.

Bob Brumm:

But it's still a little step, little step and it will change.

Bob Brumm:

That's a big thing to remember too, this too will change as Tony Robbins would say, it's, we're always moving.

Bob Brumm:

The earth is always turning in.

Bob Brumm:

As long as we have another day, there's an opportunity there.

Bob Brumm:

And we've got to remember that too, that will help us to go after those little things we need to do and, and look at things a little bit different.

Bob Brumm:

those are some of the, like you said, COVID has been a big challenge for a lot of people.

Bob Brumm:

but being able to wake up and not be in the hospital has been a good way to look at things and praying for those that do go when they have to go into the hospital, et cetera, and get, get well.

Bob Brumm:

But just realizing the value of, of everything we have is very important.

Bob Brumm:

I think that's a big factor in moving forward towards what you want.

Bob Brumm:

Overcoming a lot of obstacles.

Vit Muller:

That's great way you've put it.

Vit Muller:

Do you have anything that you'd like to say to our listeners?

Vit Muller:

Let's say we can call it a top three things that you would like the listeners to to walk away with after listening to today.

Bob Brumm:

Well, first of all, realize it, you know, a positive perspective does have its benefits.

Bob Brumm:

Is it easy?

Bob Brumm:

It's, it's a learned process.

Bob Brumm:

We all have the capability to learn it.

Bob Brumm:

We all have the ability to learn it and implement it in our life.

Bob Brumm:

It takes action to do that.

Bob Brumm:

We've got to take the action, no matter what we do in our life, we got to take positive action towards achieving our goal.

Bob Brumm:

If we want a certain goal, we've got to take that action.

Bob Brumm:

It means we got to get off the couch.

Bob Brumm:

We gotta turn off that TV.

Bob Brumm:

We've got to enjoy what we have at night.

Bob Brumm:

I always ask people to think of that.

Bob Brumm:

Like we talked about go outside and just enjoy outside for a little bit.

Bob Brumm:

If you can, you don't have to go to the park and you can go in the backyard.

Bob Brumm:

You could walk down the street, look up, enjoy the sunshine.

Bob Brumm:

Even if it's cloudy outside under the rain, enjoy just being outside.

Bob Brumm:

There's take those actions that you find small enjoyments, whether it's a good cup of coffee or a cup of tea, reading a book, getting that, you know, sitting down with the

Bob Brumm:

You know, I think that's important that we take time to give ourselves joy.

Bob Brumm:

and we may not only it to any, you know, it's busy time.

Bob Brumm:

We're always busy make the time, okay.

Bob Brumm:

We're only on this, this earth for so long.

Bob Brumm:

Take the time to get those small moments in.

Bob Brumm:

It could be big moments.

Bob Brumm:

It could be small moments.

Bob Brumm:

Most of the time, if you build up a bunch of small moments, those are the things you're going to remember and take that time to do that.

Bob Brumm:

So that would be a couple of things.

Bob Brumm:

There is, like I said, take that time for yourself, that enjoyment understand that positivity is learned.

Bob Brumm:

It's a process.

Bob Brumm:

We can implement many things into our day to be able to think positive and continue to do it, continue that process in our lives, because it will help you in the long run.

Vit Muller:

And I know we talk a lot in general terms today and some might be getting to the end of the postcard podcasts thinking, okay, well, when, when do I learn about the magic bullet?

Vit Muller:

Right?

Vit Muller:

What is that going right?

Vit Muller:

Well, I got a, I got a a shock for you because there isn't any, and and so magic bullet, if you're waiting for a magic bullet, then that means that you're waiting for somebody else to help you.

Vit Muller:

And that also means that you're probably somebody who's not taking ownership of your own actions.

Vit Muller:

So.

Vit Muller:

Just keeps bringing us back to that full circle.

Vit Muller:

You start owning up your own up to your own actions.

Vit Muller:

Don't wait for somebody to give you a helping hand because they might never come.

Bob Brumm:

Right?

Bob Brumm:

Right.

Bob Brumm:

Exactly.

Bob Brumm:

Whose life is it?

Bob Brumm:

Anyway, it's your life.

Bob Brumm:

Don't wait for somebody else to create your life because they're going to give you a life you don't want, but if it's your life, you will find a way to create what you want.

Vit Muller:

That's it that's it.

Vit Muller:

And as a good example, in a current current climate, it might be somebody, you know, waiting for the vaccine like, Oh, you know, COVID will pass vaccines being rolled out.

Vit Muller:

Well, again, don't, don't rely on it because who knows what's going to happen in the future?

Vit Muller:

Who knows how it's all going to pan out.

Vit Muller:

So we don't know.

Vit Muller:

Right.

Vit Muller:

And I don't know, what's it like in the U S in terms of, you know, government support or in, in here in Australia, it's been pretty good providing,

Vit Muller:

but so I don't know, whatever, whatever it is, whatever situation you have.

Vit Muller:

but again, don't rely on it.

Vit Muller:

And also don't rely on something that you think that will happen in the near future.

Vit Muller:

and if you're, if you're desperate to make some income, then start taking action.

Vit Muller:

That's, you know, there's.

Vit Muller:

There's there's opportunities on the internet, a quick one, really easy example.

Vit Muller:

And all you need is a laptop.

Vit Muller:

If you've got a laptop or not even a laptop, if you've got a phone, you know, there is, you can be, you can, you can join the gig economy.

Vit Muller:

You know, you can list yourself on things like Fiverr and do little gigs, you know, for five bucks, you know, somebody needs a little graphic

Vit Muller:

You just got to be open to see them and,

Bob Brumm:

and th and take that action.

Bob Brumm:

I mean, yeah, there's, there's all kinds of options out there and it can be quick.

Bob Brumm:

it will build your confidence, take that action and try it.

Vit Muller:

Excellent.

Vit Muller:

I think so many people need to hear it.

Vit Muller:

and we went around in circles few times, but that doesn't mean that the content.

Vit Muller:

There's a reason why we went, because there's a strong message we needed to emphasize it for you guys.

Vit Muller:

cause it is important.

Vit Muller:

A very important message and everything else rolls off in all the little details, a little of technical tidbits.

Vit Muller:

They'll they're all second, second of importance.

Vit Muller:

You know, you just gotta get that positive mindset first take action.

Vit Muller:

And everything else is just technicalities that you can ask your uncle, uncle Google for advice.

Vit Muller:

Yeah, there

Bob Brumm:

you go.

Bob Brumm:

Other people who have done this, so keep it up.

Vit Muller:

That's it.

Vit Muller:

That's it.

Vit Muller:

So, yeah.

Vit Muller:

So once again, thank you for being on the show, Bob, I appreciate you.

Vit Muller:

Vit Muller:

I appreciate you for listening to the show and appreciate your support for for this podcast and, and, you know, for everything that I do, because it is my second, you know, second thing that I do.

Vit Muller:

As far as, you know, I've got my full-time job and then I do this as a second thing, plus, I'm a dad, so I've got lots going on and

Vit Muller:

And and seeing, you know, some positive messages that I get from you guys may not really a lot to me.

Vit Muller:

And as a way to say, thank you.

Vit Muller:

I always like to, you know, work some something out with my guests that I interview some sort of a special little bone or some sort of a gift

Vit Muller:

And today me and Bob being able to work out a great little deal.

Vit Muller:

So at the beginning we mentioned, he's got eight grade books.

Vit Muller:

And so he's going to provide you guys the first chapter four from one of his books.

Vit Muller:

And to get that chapter, all you need to do is just jump on to the the, the official success inspired podcast.com website, and then you'll find it in the show notes of this episode.

Vit Muller:

You only need to do is just put your email down.

Vit Muller:

And Bo has already given me the book.

Vit Muller:

So what I'll do is I'll just send it over to you so you can rate the chapter and then from there, and if you wanted to contact book four more,

Vit Muller:

Yes, they

Bob Brumm:

are.

Bob Brumm:

They're all on Amazon.

Bob Brumm:

So you can go to Amazon, look up Bob Brom and you'll see all the books that are out there covering the

Vit Muller:

topic of positivity.

Vit Muller:

I assume

Bob Brumm:

you got it.

Bob Brumm:

Positivity.

Bob Brumm:

Positive action.

Bob Brumm:

And my first one was a money saving strategy book.

Bob Brumm:

Again, the link to positive mindset though.

Vit Muller:

Vit Muller:

So some practical tips there as well.

Vit Muller:
